The Langley Blaze are a youth baseball team located in the city of Langley, British Columbia. Doug Mathieson is the founder and manager of the Blaze. The team was founded in 1993, and joined the B.C. Premier Baseball League in 1999.〔BCPBL: (League History ) Retrieved on 11 July 2009〕 The team plays their home games at Mcleod Athletic Park, although they have also called City Park home in the past as well. In the latest playoffs in the premier baseball league they defeated the Coquitlam Reds going undefeated in the Playoffs. At Nat Bailey Stadium crowds were drawn to the talents of the Langley Blaze as they ran over teams left and right.
